Brazilian YouTuber Jalex Rosa created his own live-action version of One Piece , focusing on Luffy 's Gear 5 . Due to the incredible quality of his work, his video went viral on a huge scale.

Netflix surprised many people by making a good live-action adaptation of a work as caricatured as One Piece . So Jalex Rosa took advantage of this momentum to create his realistic version of One Piece too. In an almost 8-minute video, he recreates Luffy's fight against Kaido and the awakening of Gear 5.
However, his channel was already well known before this video was released. His videos feature live-action shorts from various animes and games, such as Naruto , Demon Slayer and many others.
Firstly, the video begins with an introduction about what the creation process was like behind the cameras. Furthermore, he shows that he intended to use Jason Momoa as a reference for Kaido, but he later left this idea aside because he did not have the author's authorization. At the end of the video, we see the result of the work with phenomenal editing, soundtrack and animation.
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a body made of rubber after eating the magical fruit Gomu Gomu no Mi (the Rubber Fruit). Since he was inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Shanks the Red, Luffy decided to become a pirate and sail on a journey across the sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
