Check out the official synopsis for the second season:

Saitama is a hero who only became a hero for fun. After three years of "special training," he became so strong that he's practically invincible. In fact, he's incredibly strong – even his most powerful opponents are eliminated with a single punch. Now, the great seer Madame Shibabawa's prediction about Earth being doomed seems to be coming true as the frequency of monster incidents increases. Simultaneously with Genos, his loyal disciple, Saitama begins his official hero duties as a member of the Hero Association, while Garou, a man completely fascinated by monsters, makes his appearance

Updated, watch the One-Punch Man trailer:

Developed by the author under the pseudonym One, it was published in 2009 and quickly became a viral phenomenon, reaching over 7.9 million hits by June 2012. The work's name, Wanpanman, is a parody of the character Anpanman; the word wanpan is a contraction of wanpanchi (one punch in English). One Punch-Man tells the story of Saitama, an extremely powerful superhero who has become bored with the lack of challenge in his battles against evil and seeks to find a worthy opponent.

A digital manga adaptation illustrated by Yusuke Murata began publication on the Young Jump Web Comics website in 2012. The chapters are compiled into tankōbon volumes and published by Shueisha. In Brazil, the manga has been published by Panini Comics since March 2016.

An anime adaptation by Madhouse aired between October and December 2015. Later, in July 2017, the series was dubbed and released on Netflix .
