Director Shinpei Nagai , responsible for the current 3rd season of the anime One Punch Man , announced his departure from X (former Twitter), explaining that the decision was motivated by toxic attitudes of some users.

In his message, Nagai stated that some of his followers have been distorting his statements and even misusing behind-the-scenes information to generate controversy and profit. " These actions are unacceptable and cannot be ignored ," the director wrote.

He also emphasized that the hostile environment was taking a toll on his mental health and affecting the production team. " I cannot forgive those who tarnish the team's honor or exploit the creators' efforts to generate hatred ," he added.

Nagai confirmed that he will permanently delete his account, including his official Shimpai Nagai profile , and that he does not intend to create new accounts in the future . The director thanked his true fans for their support and concluded by saying that " it was a really fun experience ."

Meanwhile, fans continue to look forward to the next episodes of the new season of One Punch Man , which is still in production.
