The sixth episode of the third season of the anime One Punch Man generated a wave of criticism, and not without reason. The combination of Nagai's storyboards with the outsourcing of animation to the Chinese studio X10 resulted in an episode marked by visual limitations and questionable choices. Furthermore, Taiki Nishimura took over the direction, known for works that, on the other hand , rarely exhibit consistent quality control.

Right from the start, the chapter reveals a glaring error: 20 seconds of static zoom on a building , while, simultaneously , the narrative attempts to move forward without any creative effort. Thus , it becomes evident that the staircase scene was removed to avoid animating complex angles and detailed characters.
The flaws persist throughout the episode. The dialogue features poorly drawn characters, the camera alternates between vertical panning and zoom-out without fluidity, and yet nothing seems harmonious on screen. Proportions, depth, and composition simply don't work.
The direction, therefore, sounds mechanical, lacking emotion or impact. Nishimura, already remembered for the infamous episode 2 of Uzumaki , repeats problems that reinforce his dubious reputation in the industry.
Furthermore , the combination with Nagai's weak boards makes the result even more limited.
JCSTAFF studio was responsible for the second season of the anime, returning again for the third. The first season was animated by the famous MADHOUSE .
Synopsis:
Saitama remains a hero who fights purely for fun, defeating any enemy with a single punch. However, the situation becomes complicated when the Monster Association kidnaps a child linked to the Hero Association. The S-Class heroes rally to rescue her, while Garou , the "human monster," awakens inside the enemy lair.
Ultimately, despite low expectations, the episode proved catastrophic .
