One Punch Man: Manga goes on hiatus

One Punch Man fans by surprise. Manga artist Yusuke Murata announced on his X account today that the series will go on hiatus until July 17, 2025.

Currently, the Ninja Village Arc has not left fans happy, as the work has been undergoing constant changes and re-edits , with Murata releasing new versions of previous chapters that change the story significantly and leave many confused about which events are canonical and which are not.

In his tweet , Murata says the following:

"Sorry to keep you waiting. Regarding the One Punch Man TonaJump version, due to various circumstances, the next update will be on Thursday, July 17th. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please bear with us."

The message doesn't detail what circumstances caused the manga to go on hiatus, but fans are supporting the break so that the illustrator and scriptwriter ONE can get the work back on track.
