Synopsis Orb: On the Movements:
The sparks of Renaissance discoveries are just beginning to burn in 15th century Europe, even as those who make discoveries are burned for their heresy. In Poland, a child prodigy named Rafal is expected to be another great mind in theology, but an encounter with a certain man leads him down the path of a heretical truth.
Uoto launched the manga “Orb: On the Movements of the Earth” in Big Comic Spirits from September 2020 to April 25, 2022. Shogakukan published the eighth and final compiled volume in June 2022.
Finally, the manga won the Grand Prize at the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Awards in April. Uoto is the youngest to win the Grand Prix at age 24.
