It was revealed this Thursday (04) that the 3rd season of the anime of the novel Oregairu (Yahari ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru) will premiere on TV in 2020 with animation by the animation studio Feel (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO!, This Art Club Has a Problem!, Dagashi Kashi).
Crunchyroll describes the anime:
Hachiman Hikigaya is an antisocial high school student with a distorted outlook on life and no friends or girlfriend. When he sees his classmates chatting excitedly about living their teenage lives, he mutters, "They're a bunch of liars." When asked about his future dreams, he replies, "It's not working." A teacher gets Hachiman to join the voluntary "work club," which happens to include the prettiest girl in school, Yukino Yukinoshita, as one of its members.
Watari began the original light novels with illustrations by Ponkan8 in Japan in 2011. The final arc of the series began with the 12th volume, which was released in September 2017. The 14th and final volume was originally scheduled to be released on April 18, after a delay from November to March, then again to April, but was again delayed indefinitely.
Oregairu has had two anime adaptations. The first, produced by Brain's Base, ran for 13 episodes and aired between April and June 2013. The second, produced by Feel, also ran for 13 episodes and aired between April and June 2015.
The second season covered up to volume 12 of the light novels.
