The June issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine announced this Tuesday (9) that Shinobu Ohtaka's Orient manga will begin its “final battle” in the magazine's next issue on June 9.

Ohtaka then launched the manga in Weekly Shōnen magazine in May 2018, the manga was moved to Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen magazine in February 2021. Additionally, Kodansha published the 18th volume of the manga on March 9.
The first cour (quarter of a year) of the anime adaptation of the manga therefore premiered in Japan in January 2022.
Synopsis
Musashi is a teenager who lives under the rule of demons. As children, he and his best friend made a promise: to become the most powerful warriors in the world and defeat the demons in power. But the wheels of destiny have not changed in his favor and, five years later, Musashi is about to become a miner. Can Musashi be content with living a normal life?
