The June issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine announced on Tuesday (9) that Shinobu Ohtaka's Orient manga will begin its "final battle" in the next issue of the magazine on June 9.
Orient – Manga nears its end with an epic battle
Ohtaka then launched the manga in Weekly Shōnen magazine in May 2018, and it was transferred to Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen magazine in February 2021. Additionally, Kodansha published the manga's 18th volume on March 9th.
The first cour (quarter of a year) of the anime adaptation of the manga therefore premiered in Japan in January 2022.
Synopsis
Musashi is a teenager living under the dominion of demons. As children, he and his best friend made a promise: to become the most powerful warriors in the world and defeat the demons in power. But the gears of fate did not turn in their favor, and five years later, Musashi is about to become a miner. Can Musashi be content to live a normal life?
