A new original anime titled " Goodbye, Lara " was announced this weekend, produced by Kinema Citrus . In addition to the announcement, the production's cast, trailer, and image were revealed.

Goodbye Lara Synopsis:
The plot of Goodbye Lara follows a mermaid who makes a forbidden wish: to be loved by a human. After her death, she is reborn 200 years later in modern-day Japan, on the serene Lake Biwa. There, she learns to adapt to the human world, full of challenges and discoveries. Lake Biwa, located in Shiga Prefecture, is not only a stunning setting but also director Takushi Koide's homeland, adding a personal and authentic layer to the narrative.
