JBC announced the publication of manga in Portuguese during the live profile last Wednesday (26).
Buddha was originally released between 1972 and 1983, the work is one of Tezuka's last works. The manga shows how the author thinks about the story of Buddha, making the work win the Eisner Awards in 2004 and 2005.
Tezuka is remembered as the “Father of modern manga”, as he was responsible for popularizing the genre.
In total there will be eight volumes, price and forecast have not yet been announced.
