With nine nominees in the Best Picture category, the list of contenders for the 2014 Oscars was presented today.
The films with the most nominations this year were American Hustle and Gravity, each receiving ten nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actress (Amy Adams and Sandra Bullock), and Best Director (David O. Russell and Alfonso Cuarón).

The other most nominated productions are: with six nominations each, Captain Phillips, 12 Years a Slave, Nebraska, and Dallas Buyers Club. The film Her has five nominations, as does The Wolf of Wall Street.

The Oscar ceremony takes place on March 2nd in Los Angeles.
