Oshi no Ko's opening is the most memorable anime song of the present for Japanese people

The Japanese have created a list of the most memorable anime songs through the vote " 10,000 People Choose! Finally Decided! Reiwa Vs. Heisei Vs. Showa Anime Song Ranking ." Therefore, on the 7th (Saturday), the TV Asashi revealed the results of the vote, revealing Japan's favorite anime openings. Furthermore, the vote was divided by three different eras of Japan: Showa , Heisei , and Reiwa . In other words, each era refers to an emperor who ruled the country during a specific period.

Reiwa is the current era of Japan, which began in May 2019 under Emperor Naruhito. Therefore, the opening of Oshi no Ko , Idol , by YOASOBI , ranked #1 in this era. On the other hand, the opening of Evangelion , A Cruel Angel's Thesis , by Yoko Takahashi , ranked #1 in the Heisei era, ruled by Emperor Akihito.
