We have a new trailer for the highly anticipated anime Oshi no Ko ( My Star) from the same author as Kaguya-Sama: Love is War , Akasaka Aka , promising to be one of the highlights of this new season. According to the official website, the premiere will take place in April with an extended first episode.

The video reveals the opening theme song “Idol” sung by YOASOBI.

The series is directed by Daisuke Hiramaki , with a screenplay by Jin Tanaka , and character designs by Kanna Hirayama ( Kanojo, Okarishimasu ) .

Synopsis:

The story follows a doctor named Gorou , a fan of a 16-year-old idol Ai Hoshin . One day, Hoshin appears at his office, claiming she's pregnant with twins, but her manager tells her to abort the babies. However, the idol refuses to abort; she wants to have both children.

Gorou promises her a safe delivery. Little does he know that an encounter with a mysterious figure would result in his premature death, or so he thought. Opening his eyes in the arms of his beloved idol, Gorou discovers that he has been reborn as Aquamarine Hoshino, 's newborn son ! With his world turned upside down, Gorou soon discovers that the world of showbiz is full of controversies, where talent doesn't always bring success.

Finally, Akasaka and Yokoyari began the manga series Shueisha 's Young Jump magazine in 2020. The publisher released the sixth compiled book volume in November 2021.
