Oshi no Ko manga ended in October, with a final chapter that left many readers dissatisfied. Even so, the musical fantasy story featuring reincarnations and pop stars made its mark, boosting the anime's popularity.

What will be the new manga from the creator of Oshi no Ko?
With such a large project coming to an end, fans wondered what would be next for Aka and artist Mengo Yokoyari. For the new work, Aka will collaborate with a new artist, Aji Chika, on an as-yet-untitled manga—but fans believe they've already solved the mystery.
In Oshi no Ko , there's a fictional manga and anime franchise called Tokyo Blade , which, within the universe of the work, has sold over 50 million copies across 14 volumes. Now that Oshi no Ko is over, many readers are convinced that Aka will bring Tokyo Blade to the real world, creating a truly "meta" franchise. "It's going to be Tokyo Blade for sure," posted one fan on X/Twitter.
About the ending of Oshi no Ko
Despite the enthusiasm, the ending of Oshi no Ko left a bitter taste for some. This is a pattern that worries fans, as another Aka project, Renai Daikō , also had a disappointing ending this year.
Ultimately, regardless of what the next manga brings, Aka will have the chance to win over those who still doubt his ability to complete good stories.
