The manga Oshi no Ko ended in October with a final chapter that left many readers unsatisfied. Even so, the musical fantasy story with reincarnations and pop stars made its mark, boosting the popularity of the anime.

What will be the new manga from the creator of Oshi no Ko?
With the completion of such a large project, fans wondered what Aka and artist Mengo Yokoyari's next step would be. For the new work, Aka will collaborate with a new artist, Aji Chika, on a manga that is still untitled – but fans believe they have already solved the mystery.
In Oshi no Ko , there is a fictional manga and anime franchise called Tokyo Blade , which, within the universe of the work, sold over 50 million copies in 14 volumes. Now that Oshi no Ko has ended, many readers are convinced that Aka will bring Tokyo Blade to the real world, creating a truly "meta" franchise. "It's going to be Tokyo Blade for sure," posted one fan on X/Twitter.
About the ending of Oshi no Ko
Despite the initial enthusiasm, the ending of Oshi no Ko left a bitter taste for some. This is a pattern that worries fans, as another project by Aka, Renai Daikō , also had a disappointing conclusion this year.
Ultimately, regardless of what the next manga will bring, Aka will have the chance to win over those who still doubt her ability to create good stories.
