The manga Oshi no Ko ended in October with a final chapter that left many readers unsatisfied. Even so, the musical fantasy story with reincarnations and pop stars made its mark, boosting the popularity of the anime.

With the completion of such a large project, fans wondered what Aka and artist Mengo Yokoyari's next step would be. For the new work, Aka will collaborate with a new artist, Aji Chika, on a manga that is still untitled – but fans believe they have already solved the mystery.
In Oshi no Ko , there is a fictional manga and anime franchise called Tokyo Blade , which, within the universe of the work, sold over 50 million copies in 14 volumes. Now that Oshi no Ko has ended, many readers are convinced that Aka will bring Tokyo Blade to the real world, creating a truly "meta" franchise.
