The popular manga Oshi no Ko ( My Star) by author Akasaka Aka recently had its sales figures released. According to reports, the manga has surpassed 4.5 million copies in circulation.

Synopsis:
The story follows a doctor named Gorou , a fan of a 16-year-old idol Ai Hoshin . One day, Hoshin appears at his office, claiming she's pregnant with twins, but her manager tells her to abort the babies. However, the idol refuses to abort; she wants to have both children.
Gorou promises her a safe delivery. Little does he know that an encounter with a mysterious figure would result in his premature death, or so he thought. Opening his eyes in the arms of his beloved idol, Gorou discovers that he has been reborn as Aquamarine Hoshino, 's newborn son ! Finally, Akasaka and Yokoyari began the manga series Shueisha 's Young Jump magazine in 2020. The publisher released the sixth compiled book volume in November 2021.
