anime adaptation of the light novel Mamahaha no Tsurego ga Motokano datta ( My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex ) aired and brought a pleasant surprise. Thus, the development and closure was perfect for most otakus .

As otaku fans know, the story revolves around two ex-high school sweethearts whose parents marry, making them stepbrothers. While they initially promise each other to keep their past out of their relationship, the final episode revealed that Yume, the girl, decided to break her promise and promise Mizuto, her now-stepbrother, that she would make him fall in love again.

Synopsis:

After several arguments, Mizuto Irido and Yume Ayai decide to break up and move on with their lives. However, an unexpected twist of fate causes their divorced parents to fall in love and marry. Meanwhile, living with their siblings , Mizuto and Yume must deal with their old feelings, avoiding contact as much as possible to preserve peace and their parents' relationship.

Mamahaha no Tsurego anime is animated by Project No.9 and directed by Shinsuke Yanagi .
