On Sunday, the 2022 general elections were held here in Brazil, and something unusual happened. Several otakus, mostly girls, went to vote dressed in cosplay. One of the photos in question shows Brazilian @s0rabunny dressed as Makima from the anime Chainsaw Man exercising her right to vote.

Besides Makima , other cosplayers were registered at the polling stations, @NaokoCos” dressed as Megumin from KonoSuba! and Kaguya Shinomiya from Kaguya-sama: Love is War was also seen. @SaraIwazawa ” was dressed as Zero Two from Darling in the FranXX among others.

Synopsis

The story takes place in a world where demons are born from human fears. While they are generally dangerous and malevolent, humans can form contracts with demons to harness some of their power. Denji is a depressed young man trying to repay his late father's debt to the yakuza by selling several of his organs and working as a demon hunter. Denji also has a dog-like demon named Pochita, who resembles a chainsaw and helps Denji in his work.
