Synopsis:
During a hot summer in Sotoba, a quiet and peaceful village with a population of 1,300, a series of bizarre deaths begin to occur. At the same time, a strange family moves into an abandoned mansion in the area. At the hospital, Toshio Ozaki is unable to determine the cause of death of the deceased, initially suspecting an epidemic. As investigations continue among hospital staff and residents, it is believed that the village is being attacked by vampires.
The story takes place in a small, seemingly peaceful village called Sotoba. However, this is no ordinary village. Death seems to plague life and is commonplace in Sotoba. Natsuno Yuuki, a new resident of Sotoba, hates the village and wants to return to the city. However, he is determined to solve the mystery behind the strange death occurrences.
