The anime Otome Game no Hametsu Flag Shika Nai Akuyaku Reijo ni Tensei Shiteshimatta (roughly translated as: My Next Life as a Villain: All Routes Lead to Destruction), inspired by the work of Satoru Yamaguchi and Nami Hidaka, announced a new season in 2021 in its 12th episode.

Above all, Hidaka designed a mural to celebrate the news!

Synopsis

A young woman discovers she has been reborn as the villain in the romance game she bought before she died! And to her dismay, she only has two unhappy endings: exile or death. But determined not to die young again in this world, she will strive to avoid interfering in the life of the game's protagonist.

Staff

Keisuke Inoue (Ao-Chan Can't Study!) directed the first season at studio SILVER LINK. Megumi Shimizu supervised the anime's script, and Miwa Oshima adapted Nami Hidaka's character designs for animation.

The duo Angela performed the opening theme song “Shojo no Route wa Hitotsu Janai!” (There Isn't Just One Route for a Girl!) and Shouta Aoi performed the ending theme song “Bad End”.

The anime premiered on April 4th, and Crunchyroll streamed it as it aired in Japan.

Furthermore, Yamaguchi started the novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro! website in July 2014, and Ichijinsha began publishing the novel illustrated by Nami Hidaka in August 2015. Hidaka also does the art for the manga, which is being published in Ichijinsha in August 2017.
