The author put the manga on hiatus in October 2016 after giving birth to a son. She then gave birth to a second child in March 2019; it's worth remembering that in January 2016 she announced that she had gotten married.
Hoshino launched the manga Otome Youkai Zakuro in Comic Birz magazine in 2006, where it remained until going on hiatus. The 10th volume of the manga (image below) was released in 2015.

In addition, the manga inspired a 13-episode anime that aired in 2010.
It's worth remembering that Hoshino's manga Kigurumi Guardians (Kigurumi Bouei-tai) also went on hiatus when she gave birth to her first child, but it has not yet received a return date. The manga launched in Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine in 2013 and has three volumes.
