The anime Otona no Boguya-san inspired by the manga by Fumi Ayamiya will get a 2nd season in January 2021.
It was also revealed that the anime will stream online on Comicsmart's Ganma! app. The new season will feature 12 5-minute episodes.

Synopsis
This fantasy comedy takes place in a world of swords and sorcery. The story begins when a young villager named Kautsu was looking for a job and suddenly finds himself hired by an armor shop. But it's no ordinary armor shop—it's an armor shop for adults! An ecchi comedy showcasing the shopkeeper's side of selling sexy armor.
Staff
Junichi Yamamoto is returning to direct the anime at IMAGICA Lab and provide composition. Other returning members include Kosuke Iwanaga as character designer, Kyashii as ontology designer, and Yukio Nagasaki as sound director.
The anime's staff launched a crowdfunding campaign on the Fanbeats website for the new season. However, the crowdfunding campaign didn't have a specific monetary goal and will end on October 25th. The staff will use the funds raised to offset production costs. Additionally, backers' rewards include their name in the end credits, a set of three promotional posters, and the right to appear in the anime itself.
Finally, the first season premiered in October 2018. Additionally, manga Otona no Boguya-san is serialized on the Ganma!
