The main cast includes Chiwa Saito as the older sister Nadeshiko Ōmuro, Emiri Katō as the middle sister Sakurako Ōmuro, and Rina Hidaka as the younger sister Hanako Ōmuro. All three will reprise their roles from the previous anime adaptations of "Yuruyuri."

The anime will be directed by Naoyuki Tatsuwa (known for works such as "Nisekoi" and "Monogatari Series Second Season") at the studios Passione and Studio Lings. Masahiro Yokotani (known for works such as "Sakura Quest" and "Free! Eternal Summer") will be responsible for writing and supervising the scripts. Kazuyuki Ueda will be in charge of character designs, and Yūsuke Shirato will compose the music, with music production credited to Lantis.

Synopsis

Set in Takaoka, Toyama, the series revolves around the everyday lives of the Ōmuro sisters, consisting of Hanako, Sakurako, and Nadeshiko; along with the Furutani sisters, Himawari, and Kaede; Hanako's classmates Mirai Sōma, Kokoro Ogawa, and Misaki Takasaki; and Nadeshiko's classmates Ai Miwa, Megumi Sonokawa, and Miho Yaeno.

Namori's "Oumuro-ke" manga originally launched in February 2013 in the Nico Nico Yurihime section of Ichijinsha's Nico Nico Seiga website. It went on temporary hiatus when the Nico Nico Yurihime service was discontinued in 2016.
