Synopsis of Overlord:
The story follows a video game player named Momonga, who finds himself trapped in the MMORPG "Yggdrasil" after it goes offline. Within the game, Momonga takes the form of his avatar, but the powerful overlord of the Great Tomb of Nazarick embarks on an epic adventure in a virtual world filled with dangers and fantastical beings.
A light novel series written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin. Sixteen volumes have been published since July 30, 2012. Finally, a manga adaptation, illustrated by Hugin Miyama, began serialization in Kadokawa Shoten's seinen manga magazine Comp Ace on November 26, 2014.
