The July issue of Kadokawa's Comp Ace magazine published the final chapter of the first part of the 'Overlord' manga
Overlord – Part 1 of the manga completed
The manga was launched in Comp Ace in 2014. The publisher released the 18th volume of the manga on March 25th.
Kugane Maruyama began publishing the 'Overlord' light novel online in 2010, and Kadokawa's Enterbrain imprint began publishing the print series with illustrations by Soo-bin in 2012.
Synopsis
The story takes place in the distant future where a very popular open-world RPG called Yggdrasil is about to shut down its server. Deeply attached to the world he inhabits in the game, the protagonist refuses to log out until the very last second, even though he would continue on for his guild alone.
