Overlord is a Japanese light novel written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin . It was serialized online in 2010, before being acquired by Enterbrain . Fifteen volumes have been published since July 30, 2012.
In Brazil, the Light Novel (in digital and printed versions), and the manga (in print) are published by Editora JBC .
Synopsis
Yggdrasil is a popular online game that suddenly has its servers shut down. Momonga, a young player, decides not to leave the game and is transformed into a skeleton, the Overlord . As he has no family, friends or place in real society, young Momonga decides to fight to dominate the new world that the game has become.
