We have a new anime in the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt . According to reports, Studio Trigger (Kill la Kill) is working on the new animation.
Thus, the series Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt was produced by the now-defunct studio Gainax and aired on Japanese TV between October and December 2010. The series consisted of 13 episodes plus a special to conclude it.
Synopsis:
The story follows two Anarchy sisters, Panty and Stocking. They are angels who were expelled from Heaven due to their bad behavior. They are sent to Daten City, a place located between Heaven and Hell, where strange monsters called "Ghosts" haunt the city. Under the watchful eye of Reverend Garterbelt, it is up to Panty and Stocking to destroy these ghosts in order to receive enough Heaven Coins to return to Paradise.
Finally, the new animated film does not yet have a release date.
