Penguindrum gets a compilation film to celebrate its 10th Anniversary

We'll have the compilation film of the Mawaru Penguindrum anime . According to the official website , the series will combine all 24 episodes with the addition of new scenes. The anime film is titled Re:cycle of Penguindrum .

Therefore, the film is the first project to mark the anime's 10th anniversary. The second project is a fundraising campaign that will begin on April 8th in Japan only.

Synopsis:

After her condition worsened, nearly killing her, Himari was saved by a penguin hat. Since then, she has been possessed by an entity that demands the family search for the Penguindrum as payment for the young woman's recovery.

The anime was produced by the studio Brain's Base under the direction of Kunihiko Ikuhara ( Shoujo Kakumei Utena ).
