This Saturday, the official website for the anime Pet announced that it will premiere in the fall season of this year. The adaptation of Ranjou Miyake 's manga features Takahiro Oomori (Durarara!!) as director.
Sadayuki Murai (Natsume's Book of Friends) is responsible for the story and Junichi Hayama (A Town Where You Live) is responsible for the character designs. The animation is by Geno Studio .

Pet anime synopsis:
The psychic thriller revolves around people who possess the ability to infiltrate people's minds and manipulate memories. Their powers are used in the underworld to cover up incidents, murders, and other acts. These powers can not only destroy other people's spirits but also corrupt the users' own hearts. Users have had to protect their fragile and insecure hearts, as if they were chained to each other. They are called "pets" out of fear and contempt.
Pet was originally published between 2002 and 2003 by Shogakukan , with a total of 5 volumes. In 2009, it was republished by Enterbrain . Finally, the anime will only be available on Amazon's streaming service.
