This Saturday, the official website for the Pet announced that it will premiere in the fall season this year. The adaptation of Ranjou Miyake 's manga features Takahiro Oomori (Durarara!!) as director.
Sadayuki Murai (Natsume's Book of Friends) is responsible for the story and Junichi Hayama (A town where you live) for character design. The animation is by Geno Studio .

Pet anime synopsis:
The psychic thriller story revolves around people who have the ability to infiltrate people's minds and manipulate memories. Their powers are used in the underworld to cover up incidents, murders and other acts. These powers can not only destroy other people's spirits, but also corrupt the users' own hearts at the same time. Users had to protect their fragile and insecure hearts, as if they were chained to each other. They are called “pets” out of fear and contempt.
Pet was originally published between 2002 and 2003 by Shogakukan , with a total of 5 volumes. In 2009, it was republished by Enterbrain . Finally, the anime will only be available on Amazon's streaming service.
