The official Puchimas! website – Petit Idolm@ster – released the first promotional video for the series' second season. This new season will feature original stories not found in the manga. The anime premieres on April 1st in Japan. Niconico and Bandai Channel will stream the anime.

Akane 's four-panel series , depict the daily lives of idols from 765Pro's The IDOLM@STER —and the mysterious creatures called "Puchidoru" that somewhat resemble idols.

Manky (Tono to Issho, Sengen Kakko-Kawaii!, 30-sai no Hoken Taiiku) directed the anime at studio Gathering, Sao Tamado (30-sai no Hoken Taiiku) designed the characters.
