A new promotional image for the Platinum End anime by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata ( Death Note , Bakuman) has been revealed. According to official information, the series will premiere on Japanese TV in the fall of 2021 with 24 episodes .

Synopsis:
While his classmates celebrate their high school graduation, the troubled Mirai is plunged into darkness. But his battle is only beginning when he receives some salvation from above in the form of an angel. Now Mirai faces 12 other chosen humans in a battle where the winner becomes the next god of the world. Mirai has an angel on his side, but he may need to become a demon to survive.
Finally, Platinum End is directed by Hideya Takahashi (Strike Witches: Road to Berlin). The character design is by Shinichi Inotsume (PERSONA 5 the Animation).
