anime adaptation of Platinum End by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata ( Death Note , Bakuman) has been announced. According to official information, the series will arrive on Japanese TV in fall 2021.

The story follows the boy Mirai, plunged into darkness. But his battle is only beginning when he receives salvation from above in the form of an angel. Now Mirai faces 12 other chosen humans in a battle where the victor becomes the next god of the world. Mirai has an angel in his corner, but he may need to become a demon to survive.
