Netflix has just announced today (14) the anime of PLUTO , a renowned work by Naoki Urasawa x Osamu Tezuka ( Astro Boy ). According to information, the anime will debut sometime in 2023.

Therefore, the series takes place in Tezuka's Astro Boy universe, centered on the story arc The Greatest Robot on Earth, and in homage to the arc's main villain.
Synopsis:
In the original mystery thriller story, we are introduced to Gesicht, a Europol detective trying to solve the case of a series of robot and human deaths.
The manga was published in Shogakukan's Big Comic Original magazine from 2003 to 2009, but with the chapters bound into eight tankōbon volumes. Finally, beyond the reverence for Astro Boy , Pluto is a crime thriller set in a sci-fi setting.
Furthermore, Maruyama has already made anime adaptations of other manga by Naoki Urasawa , including the well-known Monster and Master Keaton , both by Madhouse .
