The anime Pluto, a renowned work by Naoki Urasawa and Osamu Tezuka ( Astro Boy ), has received new promotional art. According to reports, the anime will premiere sometime in 2023.

Therefore, the series is set in Tezuka's Astro Boy universe, centered on the story arc The Greatest Robot on Earth, and in homage to the arc's main villain.
Synopsis:
In the original mystery thriller story, we are introduced to Gesicht, a Europol detective trying to solve the case of a series of deaths of robots and humans.
The manga first appeared in Shogakukan's Big Comic Original magazine from 2003 to 2009, but with the chapters bound into eight tankōbon volumes. Finally, beyond the homage to Astro Boy , Pluto is a crime thriller set in a sci-fi setting.
Furthermore, Maruyama has already made anime adaptations of other manga by Naoki Urasawa , including the well-known Monster and Master Keaton , both by Madhouse .
