One of the announcements presented at the Nintendo Direct event was the unexpected Pokémon Battle Trozei .
CEO Satoru Iwata announced that the game will be released for the Nintendo 3DS starting March 13th for European gamers, where it will be called Pokémon Link Battle, and a week later, on March 20th, it will arrive in North America.
Pokémon Battle Trozei is a spin-off title from the Pokémon franchise in which the objective is to match three or more identical monster pieces to create combos, earn points, and win battles against other Pokémon, all while maintaining the essence of the series.
