Niantic revealed the details of Pokémon GO season 18, titled Power and Prowess, which takes place from March 4 to June 3, 2025. The highlight is Kubfu's debut, along with its decisive scam and Urshifu Evolutions. In addition, the update features new legendary Pokémon, special events and important changes in Android devices support.
Kubfu and the challenges of the new season
Players will have access to the Special Power and Procurement survey, which will be available for free between March 5 and June 3. Upon completion, they will be able to find Kubfu Dinamax and other special Pokémon. Already the paid version of the research, available from 5 to 10 March, guarantees an extra meeting with Kubfu, making it possible to collect its two evolved forms.
In addition to the new Wushu Pokémon, the season brings Raikou, Entei and Suicune Dinamax, which will be available in Max battles throughout the season. In addition, Machamp Gigamax debuts in the game and players will be able to challenge him in the Gigamax battles. Continuing with the additions of the Galar region, players will also be able to capture Nickit and Thievul.
One of the most anticipated findings is the chance to find Charcadet brilliant for the first time. In addition, the extraordinary discovery will bring meetings with Marowak de Alola, Mawile, Druddiss, Jangmo-O and Frigibax. For the first time, Carnival will be celebrated in Pokémon GO, with a special event valid for all of Latin America. The Carnival Friends event will take place from March 3-7, bringing exclusive bonuses to players. During the period, incense will last two hours (except daily adventure incense) and there will be double experience and star dust when capturing Pokémon and opening gifts.
The incense will attract thematic Pokémon, including Bellprrout, Golden, Platter, Carvanha, Snivy, Scorbunny, Quaxly and even Hitmontop, one of the franchise's most iconic fighters. Pokémon GO will stop working on 32 -bit Android devices
From March 2025, Pokémon GO will stop working on 32 -bit Android devices that downloaded the game from Samsung Galaxy Store. In June 2025, the change will extend to devices that set the game via Google Play Store.
To continue playing, users will need a 64 -bit Android device or an iOS device. Among the models that will lose support are Samsung Galaxy S4, S5, Note 3, J3, Sony Xperia Z2 and Z3, Motorola Moto G (1st generation) and HTC One (M8), as well as other devices released before 2015.
