Nintendo has just announced its newest smartphone game, Pokémon Go. The game will feature augmented reality, allowing players to hunt all the Pokémon.
To play, simply travel to specific locations where Pokémon are located on the map, point your phone's camera, and throw a Poké Ball. The game also offers options for trading Pokémon and battles between trainers. The video also shows a group battle option, against multiple players or against a single Pokémon (in this case, Mewtwo), but Nintendo didn't provide many details on how this will work.
In addition to the smartphone game, Nintendo will also release a device called Pokémon Go Plus, for those who want to continue playing without having to touch their phone. This bracelet should emit signals when a Pokémon or Trainer is nearby.
This project will be an evolution of the April Fool's Day joke that Nintendo and Google launched in 2014, which allowed people to hunt Pokémon through Google Maps .

Pokemon Go will be released in 2016, for both iOS and Android, and will be free (but Nintendo has already announced that it will offer some in-game purchasing system).
