The May issue of Shogakukan 's Ciao announced on Monday that Kahori Orito will launch a new manga based on Liko, the female protagonist of the new Pokémon Horizons .
Pokémon Horizons will receive a shoujo manga adaptation
The manga will be released in the June issue of the magazine on May 2nd. The story will then focus on Liko and her new adventures with her Pokémon.
Pokémon Horizons, the new anime series in the Pokémon franchise, will premiere on April 14th and will have a one-hour special as its first episode.
Pokémon Horizons will star Minori Suzuki as Liko and Yuka Terasaki as Roy. Additionally, Taku Yashiro will voice Friede and Ikue Otani returns as Captain Pikachu.
