The Pokémon Company has released the first promotional video for the Pokémon XY , titled Pocket Monsters XY Tokubetsu Hen: Saikyō Mega Shinka ~Act II~ (Pokémon XY Special: The Strongest Mega Evolution ~Act II~), a sequel to the Mega Evolution special that will air in Japan on November 6th on TV Tokyo. In this Pokémon XY special, Alain and Mairin return, visiting Hoenn where they will meet the region's champion, Steven Stone. The duo will also encounter several Mega Evolved Pokémon. Later, Alain and Mega Charizard X must battle Steven and his Mega Metagross, but during the fight a mysterious character will appear. Also in Hoenn, there is a sleeping stone monument whose pieces, when placed in their proper place, reveal the secrets of Mega Evolution.
