The Pokémon Company has released the first promotional video for the Pokémon XY , titled Pocket Monsters XY Tokubetsu Hen: Saikyō Mega Shinka ~Act II~ (Pokémon XY Special: The Strongest Mega Evolution ~Act II~), a sequel to the mega evolution special that will air in Japan on November 6 on TV Tokyo. In this Pokémon XY special, Alain and Mairin return, visiting Hoenn to meet the region's champion, Steven Stone. The duo will also encounter several mega-evolved Pokémon. Later, Alain and Mega Charizard X must battle Steven's Mega Metagross, but during the fight, a mysterious figure will appear. Also in Hoenn, there is a dormant stone monument whose pieces, when placed in the right place, reveal the secrets of mega evolution.
