Pokkén Tournament is the new game in the Pokémon franchise. The Pokémon Company today announced the title, which is developed by Tetsuya Harada, creator of Tekken.
Production is in charge of Nintendo and Namco Bandai Games, which also make the unreleased Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. Pokkén will have the traditional style of fighting in 3D arenas and will only be available for arcades – nothing has been said about consoles. There is still no confirmation of the release for the West.
In Japan, Pokkén Tournament is scheduled to arrive in 2015.
