Pokkén Tournament is the latest game in the Pokémon franchise. The Pokémon Company announced the title today, developed by Tetsuya Harada, creator of Tekken.

Production is being handled by Nintendo and Namco Bandai Games, who also produced the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. Pokkén will feature traditional 3D arena fighting and will be available only in arcades—no mention of consoles has been made. A Western release has not yet been confirmed.

In Japan, Pokkén Tournament is expected to arrive only in 2015.
