Last week, the Japanese website AnimeAnime! released a ranking of the most popular anime January 2022 season
The voting resulted in a similar number of votes between men and women , so we can say that neither group outperformed the other.

1. Place – Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru

2. Place – Shingeki no Kyojin: Final Season Part 2
Synopsis: In a world where humanity lives inside cities surrounded by three enormous walls that protect them from human-devouring creatures called Titans, the story follows Eren Yeager , who vows to exterminate the Titans after one of them causes the destruction of his hometown and the death of his mother.
3. Place – Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 3rd Season (Draw)
Synopsis: High school student Nishikata is made a fool of by his neighbor, Takagi . With his pride shattered, he vows to turn the tables and get his revenge on her someday.
3rd Place – Heike Monogatari (Tie)
Synopsis: The story follows the rise and fall of the Taira Genpei War , showing the events through the perspective of Biwa , a blind minstrel who meets Taira no Shigemori , one of the clan's heirs. He possesses supernatural vision, capable of seeing ghosts, and after encountering Biwa , hears a prophecy from her that foretells the end of his clan.
4. Place – Sasaki to Miyano
Synopsis: Miyano is a student fascinated by romantic stories about boys. After a chance encounter with Sasaki , the two form an unusual friendship centered around the romances he tries to hide from his friends at all costs.
5. Place – Akebi-chan no Sailor-fuku
Synopsis: The story takes place at a prestigious girls' high school in the country. Akebi Komichi has always dreamed of wearing the school's sailor uniform. The "dream" life of a high school student finally begins. Time for youth flows slowly. Life in the countryside plus life in high school and sailor outfits. "Will I be able to make a hundred friends?"
6th Place – JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean
Synopsis: The story of Stone Ocean is a continuation of part 5 and follows Jolyne Cujoh , daughter of Jotaro Kujo . After Jolyne is accused of murder and sent to prison, she will have to confront a former follower of Dio while trying to prove her innocence.
7th Place – Vanitas no Carte
Synopsis: The story follows a vampire named Noah , who is searching for a way to save his friend. He travels to Paris to find the Book of Vanitas , which is said to be able to save vampires, but this ends up leading him into a confrontation that puts the peace between humans and vampires at risk.
Therefore, the ranking is based on anime currently airing on Japanese TV , which is why Jojo's must have made it onto this list, since it premiered on Netflix in December The previous ranking included 10 anime , but it has been reduced to 8.
