Warner Bros. has just released the new trailer for 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' , three minutes long. The film continues the adventure of the title character, Bilbo Baggins ( Martin Freeman ), who travels with the wizard Gandalf the Gray ( Ian McKellen ) and thirteen dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield ( Richard Armitage ) on a mission epic quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain and the lost Kingdom of Erebor.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' opens on December 20, 2013, while 'The Hobbit: There and Back Again' will be released on December 17, 2014.
