The new anime is based on the “Princess Connect” mobile game series. The game is a real-time RPG in which you control stats while battling enemies, both bots and PvP. The game was launched in 2015 and ended its service in 2016, but later on, the title “Princess Connect! Re: Dive was announced in 2018 as a sequel and is still active.
