Synopsis
After the Queen's assassination attempt, manhunts for spies became a frequent occurrence in the Kingdom. In response, Control—the Commonwealth's covert operations group—begins to suspect a double agent within the royal family. To uncover the truth, Control dispatches the spy ring "White Dove Team." But danger lurks around every corner, and when you don't know who you can trust, being a spy has never been more dangerous for Ange and the rest of White Dove Team.
Princess Principal: Crown Handler will have a total of six films , with the first film in the franchise premiering on February 11 of this year . The film was originally scheduled to premiere in April 2020 , but the films' production committee delayed the film's release, citing government policies to contain the spread of COVID-19 , as well as the health and safety of viewers.
Additionally, it's worth remembering that the film's first Blu-ray Disc in Japan includes a six-minute OVA Busy Easy Money ."
The second film premiered in Japan on September 23 this year.
