My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

My Hero Academia premiered today, April 3rd, 2016, the first of its 13 episodes. It's one of the most anticipated anime series due to the popularity of the manga, generating great expectations for several reasons.

It was produced by Studio Bones, the rock band Porno Graffitti performs the opening theme, the rock band Brian the Sun performs the ending theme, and it features voice actors who have worked on other famous anime, such as Kaito Ishikawa , who voiced Genos from One-Punch Man, as Tenya Iida .

Without a doubt, it has many tools to be good, but the most important thing is its foundation. The episode was very faithful to the manga and showed a part of the first chapter, which is quite large at 53 pages.

It seems that it will be well explored and the characters will be well utilized. It showed Midoriya's desire to become a hero, his admiration for All Might, his notebook with information about heroes, and his relationship with Bakugo. All of this will be fundamental to the unfolding of the story.

Izuku Midoriya, or Deku, as Bakugo calls him, was born in an era where having quirks is normal and being normal means being part of the minority. Every child (and adult too, of course) thinks heroes are the coolest and wants to be like them when they grow up.

In My Hero Academia, this is a very possible reality, but being born without a Quirk is a major obstacle to this dream.

Even knowing this, Midoriya remains determined. Now that he has met his favorite hero, he sees a chance to have his questions answered and learn what life is like as a hero.

The problem is that heroes also have difficulties, and Deku will discover that All Might isn't just what you see on TV, and being a hero isn't easy at all.
