The newest addition to Burning Rescue is Galo, a hot-headed man who uses "Matoi-Tech," named after the "matoi" flags used by firefighting units during the Edo period. Galo's encounter with Lio, leader of a Burnish terrorist group called Mad Burnish, sets the story in motion.
