The official website for the anime Nagi no Asukara, a project by studio PA Works in conjunction with ASCII Media Works' Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh, has released a promotional trailer. It's one of the most promising shows in terms of art style and quality for this new season.

Toshiya Shinohara (Black Butler, The Book of Bantorra) is directing, and Mari Okada (Black Butler, The Book of Bantorra, anohana, Hana-Saku Iroha) is in charge of the entire script.
Synopsis : Kana Hanazawa and Natsuki Hanae are leading the cast. Hanazawa will play Manaka Mukaido, a high school girl who is always indecisive and cries about everything. Hanae will play Hikari Sakishima, Manaka's childhood friend who has cared for her since they were children. Other cast members include Kaito Ishikawa, Ryota Ohsaka, Ai Kayano, Mikako Komatsu, and Kaori Ishihara, who will be present in this script.
The anime is scheduled to premiere on October 3rd on the Tokyo MX channel and other unmentioned channels.
