A promotional video made in computer graphics for the manga Soul Reviver by Tohru Fujisawa (Great Teacher Onizuka) has been released. Digital Frontier studio (Appleseed, Resident Evil: Degeneration) produced the video. Fujisawa created the plot and original character lines, while Manabu Akishige is drawing the manga. Within the Soul Reviver , the dead can come back to life if their souls are restored before being lost in the void. Between death and the void lies the world of the dead, and two individuals – former detective Ryusuke Jin and high school student Kurara Sekimachi – save the souls lost in this reality.
Soul Reviver has been published in Monthly Hero’s since its second edition in 2011. The third bound volume will be released later this week.
